Glad I wasn't the only one who felt that way. I thought I could actually hear laughter after every one of Bush's laudatory comments. Auditory hallucinations, I guess.

Of course it was. Everyone, including the Clinons, knew that he didn't mean half of what he said. He denied the left an opportunity to criticize him. They hate it when that happens. She did win the election as the President stated. That's no small task, however much we don't like the fact she made it in.

I'm sure that he is. He was elected to a number of offices, including President. Again, we can dislike the fact he was there, but he did make it all the way to the top, which is not something everyone can do. It's a huge accomplishment to be elected a governor let alone become President of the United States.

Not really. It's difficult to give any definitive yes or no to many of them. They were all generalities with no real substance. The President said a whole lot of nothing in a polite manner to the White House guest. He didn't say anything.

I wouldn't go that far, but I will say this: Strategory! What do these people think is going to happen every time one of the Klintoons insults Bush or conservatives, or introduces George Soros at some event? Everyone is going to think about how respectful Bush was to the Clintons. Net gain for us, he's giving them enough rope to hang themselves.
