Bush's speech is the most wonderful send-up and mockery. A proper mockery for that fool of a man, Clinton.

Glad I wasn't the only one who felt that way. I thought I could actually hear laughter after every one of Bush's laudatory comments. Auditory hallucinations, I guess.

"...it was a smart move."

Of course it was. Everyone, including the Clinons, knew that he didn't mean half of what he said. He denied the left an opportunity to criticize him. They hate it when that happens. I thought he was able to get in some jabs and smile politely all through it. They couldn't touch him afterward without sounding like cry babies. Brilliant.

While President BUSH was speaking...EVERYONE was thinking MOANIKA....har har har...the REAL Klintoon Legacy...

NO BODY IN THE WORLD can think of Klintoon without thinking of Moanika....

What our dignified President did was PERFECT...we must not stoop to the gutter like our enemies...we draw the distinctions and differences CLEARLY when we do the right thing, even when nobody is looking.

Were the Clintons "great parents"?

In the context of the statement, yes. Chelsea did survive her teenage years.

Has the passage of time highlighted Clinton's strengths?

They sure have. How could you not agree?

Did Clinton show great compassion for people in need?

He signed Welfare Reform into law. Now, he showed it, did he believe it? Probably not. He was all show...he showed a lot of things.

Did Americans (that means you) know that Clinton was working hard to bring a better day closer?

What does this even mean? "Clinton was working hard to bring a better day closer"...for what and for whom? There's nothing here!

Is HRC an extraordinary person?

Certainly. I don't know how anyone could disagree with this. To me she's extraordinarily liberal and corrupt.

Has HRC proven herself more equal to the challenge of being a Senator?

She did win the election as the President stated. That's no small task, however much we don't like the fact she made it in.

Can Clinton today be even prouder of decades of service, and effort, and perseverance?

I'm sure that he is. He was elected to a number of offices, including President. Again, we can dislike the fact he was there, but he did make it all the way to the top, which is not something everyone can do. It's a huge accomplishment to be elected a governor let alone become President of the United States.

You'll have to twist if you're going to answer "yes" to any of those questions.

Not really. It's difficult to give any definitive yes or no to many of them. They were all generalities with no real substance. The President said a whole lot of nothing in a polite manner to the White House guest. He didn't say anything.

The very Clintons that are being exonerated by the "conservatives" on this thread.

Please cite where the Clintons have been exonerated. Thanks.

I wouldn't go that far, but I will say this: Strategory! What do these people think is going to happen every time one of the Klintoons insults Bush or conservatives, or introduces George Soros at some event? Everyone is going to think about how respectful Bush was to the Clintons. Net gain for us, he's giving them enough rope to hang themselves.

So, your defense is that W didn't lie, he was just deceptive, sly, snide and misleading.

I'm not comforted.

I look at it this way Silver if your intelligent enough to be a conservative to begin with then you know that George W. Bush may not be a linguist of sorts and he may not look like a high dollar stuck up politician but one thing he is and always has been is a Gentleman when required by the office he holds.

Hes by no means a Ronald Reagan but he has some of the same quality's as President Reagan is held in Reverence for.

If this was a strategy then BRAVO ! weather it works is yet to be discovered and i hope it does but to me that don't diminish him being a Gentleman to others and Respectful to the highest office in the land.

Mat 22:35   Then one of them [who was] a lawyer, asked [him a question], tempting him, and saying,
Mat 22:36   Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37   Jesus said to him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38   This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39   And the second [is] like it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
Mat 22:40   On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

So, your defense is that W didn't lie, he was just deceptive, sly, snide and misleading.

If a mass of people beleive that way then to whom was it a lie ? those who dont beleive that way ?

You're right. To be disrespectful would put Bush in the same league as the snotty children (Clinton staff) that removed the W's from Whitehouse keyboards as they departed.

Its a matter of dignity vs. immaturity.

I agree.
To me, Bush's praises of Klinton
sounded more heartfelt
than his praises
of President Reagan
at the memorial service.

Truth isn't determined by majority vote.

Was what W said true, or false?

Were the Clintons "great parents"?

Has the passage of time highlighted Clinton's strengths?

Did Clinton show great compassion for people in need?

Did Americans (that means you) know that Clinton was working hard to bring a better day closer?

Is HRC an extraordinary person?

Has HRC proven herself more equal to the challenge of being a Senator?

Can Clinton today be even prouder of decades of service, and effort, and perseverance?

You'll have to twist if you're going to answer "yes" to any of those questions.

And if you answer "no" even to one, here's the next question:

Did President Bush know it was a false statement?

If you answer "no," then he is at least dumber than you or I.

If you answer "yes," then he lied.

Dan

"No parent that behaves the way Bill Clinton does and is as corrupted as Bill Clinton is, can be a good parent."

That's your biased opinion. I want you to show me facts, not biased opinions.

Truth isn't determined by majority vote. Was what W said true, or false? To those who are followers of Clinton's criteria its was as sweet water very true to those of us who do not follow that ilk it was false as tar jelly

Were the Clinton's "great parents"?

Time will determine great parenting and no amount of speculation will change the outcome!

Has the passage of time highlighted Clinton's strengths?

Its hard to highlight strengths when a country as a whole put this man in office twice without regard for its own strength not all voted for this man but those who did believed in him BLIND BELEIF is still belief.

Did Clinton show great compassion for people in need?

He showed compassion for people of his need his kind he affected all those around him was this compassion is different compassion its selfish encirclement

Did Americans (that means you) know that Clinton was working hard to bring a better day closer?

I'm not Americans I'm but 1 American my opinion among a sea of millions is less than equal to those who followed this wretch of a man !

Is HRC an extraordinary person? Has HRC proved herself more equal to the challenge of being a Senator?

In the grand scheme of things this female windbag amounts to nothing other than that !! WIND

Can Clinton today be even prouder of decades of service, and effort, and perseverance?

Only time will tell weather his head will fit through in decades to come!

You'll have to twist if you're going to answer "yes" to any of those questions.

I have answered your questions without twisting i could have answered more ravenously but X42's times are over in the white house hes not worth getting worked up about !

And if you answer "no" even to one, here's the next question:

I have answered neither and yet have answered all!

Did President Bush know it was a false statement?

I will not stoop to call my President a liar ! Nor should you

If you answer "no," then he is at least dumber than you or I.

My Friend he is smarter than both of us combined.
