They are getting mighty cocky lately. Are they expecting some turbulence re their nuke shell game? This "massing" looks like an imminent threat -- maybe it's time to get pre-emptive.

"Massing armies is bad policy."

Especially in desert country. I wondered what we were going to do with Iran's nuclear reactor. I guess it's first on the target list.

Is this why all those carriers went to sea recently?

"reliable Iraqi sources"

I'd prefer to hear it from the guys who handle our spy birds.

Iran would be nuts to try it.

Not the wisest move on Irans part. They have a population on the verge of outright rebellion, many of those are pro American.

Yeah, this can't be good.

And why is that?

Are 4 battalions frightening to a country that can obliterate something from oh.... say, 15,000 ft.?

"The Saudi daily Al-Sharq al-Awsat, monitored in Beirut, reports Iran has massed four battalions at the border."

The morons can't possibly be that stupid, they just can't.

...can they?

When all the troops get near the Iraq border we take Tehran, they at the border will be crispy critters.

Sounds like this is just a maneuver to shore up morale of extremists on both sides of the border. The Iranian mullahs see momentum shifting toward reformists, and this little exercise is the best they can do to keep confidence in their jihad from crumbling.
