In fact, they played a clip of Mike Wallace interviewing Reagan. Wallace asked him how he was able to handle the pressure of the office so well compared to others. Reagan replied that maybe the others didn't have Nancy!
Let these idiots and others attack the man. They'll only hurt themselves.

I think that the comments of these geriatric Jurassic furniture pieces (French styled, obviously) from 60 minutes will have the staying power of . . . uh . . . about 60 minutes.
In the next 50 or 100 years, I truly see the Reagan legacy soaring to heights unheard of for all but a very few presidents from the past. Eventually, it will become apparent to all just how remarkable the Reagan presidency was, and the great extent to which he altered the course of history.
Is there any stone available somewhere between Teddy Roosevelt and Honest Abe?

I saw a slip last week where one of the toads (donaldson, I think) was asking Reagan about some deficit issue (it looked like it was in the forst term.) He asked something along the lines of "well you blame this and you blame that, but do you think that you could ever be to vlame for government spending overruns? The response was just classic. Reagan gave a very serious and longish pause, then gave just the smallest chuckle and the said "Sure I share some blame for I was once a Democrat." (I am paraphrasing) Too funny.
