While this is interesting, I'm not so sure it's all that ourtrageous.
Actually I was happy patti reconciled with her parents but I knew she didn't change her spots. She reminds me alot of Jane Fonda in that way - Jane Fonda reconciled with her Father before he passed on but she never really changed her spots.
It's not. Most of us have family members that hold differing political beliefs. The only difference between her and a member of your family that holds liberal beliefs, is that her lineage allows her opinions to be aired on the national scene. Your liberal cousin or sibling, the largest stage their liberal beliefs will be aired on is by the watercooler, or over the grill at the family reunion.
