I do not think it is Rohrbacher. He became a congressman--not the definition of "Hack" or one who would be the model for such.

With Beckett 's post containing the quote from Robinson's 1997 article, the bad blood between him and Peggy Noonan is glaring. Robinson went out of his way, really, to attack her in a grautitous and preposterous way. With the other evidence, including that he has written books centered in his speechwriter tenure, the haircut must be Peter Robinson. Someone even siad that his book talks about frequent trips to the barber while speechwriting. OK.

But who is the Hack? cyncooper's doubts about Rohrabacher may or may not be compelling. If not him then who? I proposed Ken Khachigian but I hardly know him. Rohrabacher is more widely known, and his pro Muslim anti Isreal positions and various posters statements that he would fit the greasy politician label argue for him.

Does anyone know anymore about this Ken Khachigian ??? Perhaps we could rule him in or out.

You don't think there are political hacks in congress? Au contraire, the place is crawling with them!

Noonan described "the hack" as possessing a "greasy political style." For my money, that describes Rohrabacher to a "t."

Having said that, I must plainly admit I have no certain knowledge of who Noonan is talking about.
