Thank you for posting the photo of the officers with BufordP and his great sign. I knew it would turn out fantastic.

BufordP had been standing next to the barrier with his sign on the outside when a police officer motioned to him. BufordP walked over to the officer. I went in that direction also because I was worried they had a complaint. No complaints -- just a very large number of officers who wanted to take a break while waiting for the funeral procession to begin by having their picture taken with such a great sign.

Traffic stopped, both pedestrian and cars, while the officers called others to come stand beside them. BillF, Samurai_Jack and others took photos with the officers' own cameras. The officer just to the left of President Reagan's picture, a little in front of the others, was wearing a badge from President Reagan's 1985 (if I remember correctly) Inauguration. He said word had come down from the top that they could wear these badges from 1981 and 1985.

Samurai_Jack, thank you for helping me get to the Metro with my cart and chair and for practically seeing me home. I greatly appreciated your assistance and enjoyed the extra time in your company. HUGS!
