Goodness, you're right about that. My wife and I have both worked with naturalized and first generation Hindu Indians from time to time and their unequivocal denunciations of Islam would turn a multiculturalist pink with embarassment. I don't know what Jainists or Sihks think, though, and would be interested.
They've experienced it longer than we have. The pakistan/kashmir conflict between decent Hindus and insane islamics is more severe than just about any other.
We gotta rally behind one side or the other, there is no 'religion of peace' stuff.
