There are a lot of pics on this site on the gallery page and on the memorial page. Please browse through them and see what you think.
I also have the transcripts of most of his major speeches, and have included all of the transcripts of the speeches, remarks and eulogies given while he was in state, at his funeral and at the burial.
I hope you all enjoy it.

Couldn't help myself, I had to do this and get it out there. Writing on
Volume V of my series had to take a back seat for the last three days.

For all those who prayed together on the
Reagan prayer thread we had going last week; this new site is one of the things it has motivated me to do.

Nice job - thanks.
How about another section - Humour. It could contain for example the quotes and stories that got a chuckle from the congretation at the memorial service. That sort of thing.
Examples that come to mind:
- A boy once wrote to him requesting federal assistance to help clean up his bedroom. The President replied that, "unfortunately, funds are dangerously low." He continued, "I'm sure your mother was fully justified in proclaiming your room a disaster. Therefore, you are in an excellent position to launch another volunteer program in our nation. Congratulations."
- The actor, Robert Cummings, recalled one occasion. "I was sitting around the set with all these people and we were listening to Ronnie, quite absorbed. I said, 'Ron, have you ever considered someday becoming President?' He said, 'President of what?' 'President of the United States,' I said. And he said, 'What's the matter, don't you like my acting either?'"
- When asked, "How did your visit go with Bishop Tutu?" he replied: "So-so."
- When he said to emergency-room doctors after he had been shot: "I hope you're all Republicans."
- When 1984 Democratic presidential nominee Walter Mondale accused Reagan of "government by amnesia," the president countered with, "I thought that remark accusing me of having amnesia was uncalled for. I just wish I could remember who said it."
- "I've given my aides instructions that if trouble breaks out in any of the world's hot spots they should wake me up immediately even if I'm in a Cabinet meeting."
- "Things have been awfully busy at the White House lately. I've really been burning the mid-day oil."
- "I've been around so long, I can remember when a hot story broke and reporters would run in yelling 'Stop the chisels.'"
- "It was easier to run for president when I was a boy. Back then there were only 13 states."
- "I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent's youth and inexperience."
- "Politics is supposed to be the second-oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first."
- "I am not worried about the deficit. It is big enough to take care of itself."

You might want to include all the wonderful books which have been written about Reagan in the last couple of years. You could probably set it up to buy through Amazon.

What a marvelous tribute. Wish I had thought of it myself.
I am sure Ronald Reagan would be deeply touched and greatly honored.

Outstanding website. I'll keep it bookmarked as long as I'm around and when I need a good lesson in humility I'll be sure and look back at it.

Great job! Thanks for the ping.
BTW, I, too, have always thought Reagan was the greatest President ever behind only Washington.
To: Jeff Head
Great site, thank you for honoring President Reagan with your work.
I liked all of the eulogies given, especially the one given by Brian Mulroney. Thanks for including the text of those speaches. If I might make a request.......... just having the text of those eulogies doesn't give us the emotion and power of the speaker. Would it be possible to find and link the .WAV files?

I scanned the picture below from the commemorative issue of Time Magazine if you would like to use it. The caption under it says
Midwestern Story Reagan was born on Feb. 6, 1911 in Tampico, Ill.
