Another good reason why I have not gone into politics. I was called on awhile back by some folks who thought it would be a good idea for me to run for the Georgia Statehouse . . . I managed not to laugh in their faces, but politely declined.
I'm not very photogenic, and I'm definitely too plain spoken.
I've often thought of running for public office but am certain I would never tolerate the resulting loss of privacy. I would however jump at the opportunity to serve in an off camera advisory role.
