And how are things on the South Side there in St. Louis. Is Slay's restaurant still official "headquarters" for the city? Are the Aboussies (sp) still "helping out?"
Guaranteed to waste their funds and create bankruptcy
You could be right but I like the idea of quickly slamming the door in their face.
It would be fun to bankrupt and cut them off from any government funding.
You do have to admit that somehow the left has gotten some deep pockets to keep pulling money out of.
Unless Missouri has some weird election laws, this cannot possibly legally be done by a single city. Even if it were legal under state law, it could be challenged on Fourteenth Amendment grounds because it would advantage some voters over others.
"He fancies himself as God's chosen to save the world."
Er...., right idea, wrong person?
LOL ! You must know something about St. Louis politics.
We don't hear much about the Aboussies through the mainstream St. Louis media since they are pro-democrat party but I have to believe that Slay reports every move he makes to them.
Gephardt was another politician here who was allied or controlled to some extent with the Aboussies.
It was also mentioned that in this state, the state legislators are the ones who set the closing times of the polls, not some judge.
My atty (big-time Democrat in the city, Joe Neill, who was btw head of the STL Election Board during the 2000 fiasco) advises that Blunt can probably stall it off for August, appeals processes being what they are, but that it's probably going to be implemented by November, because the Mo Supremes won't get a whack at it until after the election.
This brings up another question. How will this effect the rest of the state? Will all Missouri counties be voting for a whole week or just St. Louis City?
This is an update in todays Post-Disgust
(Snippet)
After Blunt received the early voting plans from all election authorities, he issued a report showing the estimated statewide cost of early voting would be $2.4 million. The average cost per county would be $21,000
I getting tired of paying for the democrats voter fraud schemes. All in all, I don't think the states citizens as a whole like the idea of subsidizing either voter fraud or the stupidity of some of the citizens of St. Louis City who can't figure out how to read a ballot or that you need to register ahead of time for the privilege of voting.
I completely agree with you that being coerced by the tax man to pay for willful fraud is unacceptable, but what in the h*ll can be done about it? 'T has been decreed on high.
I will admit the democrats here are sometimes quite amusing. I should know, our union certainly has its share of them.
