Boy! That was some Texas party! It was good to see you again, pard. It's been a loooong time!
It was good to see all of the HAT group, the ones I knew and the ones I know now.
Thank you, Jim, Sheila and Chris for gracing our fair city.
It's always a pleasure to see y'all!

"I did manage to get pics before stopping the majority of the bleeding." Uh, oh!
I remember the last time that Eaker got some little cuts on his hand and arm.
Johnson and Johnson had to hire extra crews making gauze bandages!

It's been a loooong time!
Like Wolf brand Chili..."Well, thats too long!"
May the next time be sooner than the last and also give us a bit more time to talk. Maybe the kids can come too and you can see how much they've grown. No piggybacking my boy any more now!
Stay well, FRiend.

I had to drive back to Salado (near Temple) thus I had to leave early. I really enjoyed being with the Freepers from Houston. The meat and crawfish and people were worth the drive. It was great to finally meet Jim Rob.
"Dem der CRAWFISH let me toll you. Damn near be good as dos we dun get out de Bayou in Larose en South Louisiana. Boudreax not gonna belif dat thos peoples de Texas know how to

Yessir, it's been a long time!
Let's make it a point to get together again before we both turn into old, gray headed men!

Doggone it, C.!
I wish we could have had gotten to talk!
We're trying to put together a shoot with the Second Amendment Sisters for next month.

I was talking to Eaker (AKA as Breaker) and asked him what he thought after the Garand exploded. He said, "damn I broke El Roy's Rifle." The "boy" has his priorities right! LOL

Looks like this was a smashing success! The party of the season, dahlings!
I loved talking with you all. It sounded like a good time was certainly being had.
And I got the honor of having JimRob tell me to "knock it off." :-)
Well done, fellow Houston FReepers.

Everybody should take this down, because for once I am almost speechless. But as you know, if I try real hard maybe I can come up with a few words.
This deal went down perfectly. Period, end of sentence. All yall nailed it.
When Im an old man sitting on the dock of my bay house, and I get frustrated trying to un tangle all the backlashes that go along with life, I can pause, close my eyes, and think of today. Way to go kids!!!

You know, everything was kind of fuzzy about that time, but I remember Eaker looking at that rifle in pieces lying there on the bench and he started apologizing!
Now this guy has a piece of metal in his chest and he's bleeding like a stuck hog and he's saying, "DAMN! El Roy, I'm sorry........."
LOL!

"but not at "MAMA LULUS" we are to old for that now!!!!!!!!!!!" Well, there were a few nights at Mama Lulu's that nearly killed me in my younger days.
It wouldn't take over an hour now.
I'll let you know, pard!

So what's the story behind the Gerand blowing up?
My dad bought one used, and has not yet tried it.
Should he tie a string on the trigger and fire it remotely?
