I left my job after ten years to return to school, and got my undergrad degree when I was... 32 (thirty two).

I would argue that improving ones station in life (or even an attempt to improve), regardless of age, is a conservative value.

Of course, I'm not defending the cretin in Alaska. I'm just saying that the age comments hit a little too close to home.

depends on what he's studying, and what his motivation is.

Could be one of those 'permanent students' who keep going to school to avoid entering the real world.

Or he could be getting his masters in something useless like social work, so he can make $25k a year and pay off his student loans by the time he's ready to retire.

They shouldn't be so hard on some of us "better late than never" college students. I'm getting so much more out it now, as opposed to right out of high school, because my mentality has changed to where I now thoroughly enjoy being edjumacated. As for this scumbag dj, he sounds just like another ted rall. They only echo the general consensus found on any lib blog or message board.
