When my husband died - he'd been a race car driver and always had every one of our personal cars pinstriped - my son & I decided to have his casket pinstriped and a huge fleur-de-lis painted on the top. The funeral director was speechless but went along with it. We also brought our own music (Al made me promise to play certain songs at his funeral).
Looks like the road to the Library is wall to wall with cars pulled off to pay final respects.
