Amen. You know, she was always my late Mom's very favorite person to watch. All week long, I've heard Mom's voice in my memory, "Just look at Nancy, isn't she something?"

I visited my Dad at the nursing home this afternoon. He's not in the best of health and mindwise finds it hard to separate reality and his memories. Now he asks how Mom is doing and she died in 1991.

I told him I had watched the Reagan memorial service and asked if he knew he had died.

Dad said, "Oh yes, greatest President this country has ever had." No mumbling, no problems getting the right words out.
