It is interesting. Ron's little swipe sort of highlights that the son didn't live up to the father. Imagine knowing that deep down in your bones,,it would make you a bit, well, snippy.

It is interesting. Ron's little swipe sort of highlights that the son didn't live
up to the father.
The contrast of the adopted son Michael to the biological son Ron is
an object lesson unto itself.
Sort of highlights the value of adoption...as in the New Testament.
