You poor thing. This has to be a celebration of a wonderful and full life.
(I'm trying to convince myself)
Born and raised here, and I've never seen anything like this.
CNN wolf and Larry King keep asking each other, "what do you make of this"??.
LOL! 200,000 lining the 30 mili route!
Youngster. My first vote was for hand picked Reagan successor, Houston I. Flourinoy in '74. Reagan in the '76 primary.

A very apt description.
I hope it's a sole bagpiper playing it as the sun sets.
You WERE the best state.
You lost the title February 14th, 1912
My Faith Looks Up To Thee
Jesus, Savior, Pilot Me
I Need Thee Every Hour
I need thee, oh I need thee,
Every hour I need thee.
Beautiful old hymn.
That's a great song.
Hi Anna. What was abc saying?
Some hashhead on KABC radio declared that Nancy wasn't well liked by the public until she gained sympathy for taking care of her husband with Alzheimers.
I don't think you have to be a dyed-in-the-wool conservative to appreciate Ronald Reagan and his accomplishments.
He has left an indelible mark on history, not just in the US. Just as FDR remade the world with WWII, redrawing the political map of the whole world, so did RR in forcing the Sovs to the wall. It was a unique and signal accomplishment. Freedom broke out everywhere.
Nobody but Reagan could have brought it off. He had the belief, the courage, the character, and the stamina to stick with his strategy, and to gather around him those who would help him stay the course.
While other politicians, even so-called conservatives were working to "accommodate" the Sovs, Reagan knew that the Sov command economy was a hollow shell and he pushed them relentlessly.
I firmly believe, as did Reagan, that he was put on earth by our Lord to break the "evil empire".
Well done, RR. There won't be another like you in our lifetime.
I fell in love with my hubby to a johnny mathis song,,,he was very popular in the sixties.
They donlt fly where ever they please, more likely some Air Traffic Control guy will lose his ... how fitting!
I lost it with Ave Maria in DC.
Felt good to weep.
"Jesus Savior, Pilot me, over life's tempestous sea. (that's all I remember of that one), sorry."
From memory... Let the water and the blood from thy wounded side that flowed
be from sin the double cure,
save from wrath, and make me pure.
That was very good. Very good.
