Am with you - the music is so wonderful. The soldiers, the sunset, the respect, the glory of God present.

What's really great is to consider that it's the military playing the Christian songs. It's awesome to think all that might holds Christian principles at heart. What a nation we have, what a heritage we have been given.

Only Reagan could use his own death to unite us as a country again, and to make use feel so good. Wonder when we will ever see another Reagan again?
To: hobson
they are changing the guard really quickly, every 5-10 minutes it seems. Does that mean that a lot of the military want to have that duty tonight??

I don't know why they keep changing the one-man guard at the casket every few minutes, but it sure is a pleasure to see the pomp and ceremony.

No forgiveness needed, its been a long day and we've all been a little emotional at one time or another. If we didn't feel strongly about things we wouldn't really be FReepers. We can all probably use a good night's sleep.

How old is Mrs. Thatcher? She looked very well today.
89. If I have the time, I will spend what I have to to get to London and show my respects, in part because of what she has shown for us this week.

***Fox just ran the scroll "Missing Man Maneuver" while the planes were flying over. Now it says "Folding the Flag."
Uh... I guess they think we are very stupid.***
At least they weren't TELLING us, too, as we were watching it AND reading it.

What a wonderful service, the whole thing was just perfectly done from the touchdown to the final respects. I for one am willing to give Ron a pass on his dig, he could have done much worse and I think we should be bigger than to try to fend off cheap political jabs that happen to be totally dishonest to boot.
I think that we know that there is a huge respect from Nancy to President George W. Bush, and I for one don't think that 43 has done a single thing because of a mandate from God. That jab is like saying he's a liar. Neither one will stick.
I suggest that we do as Ronnie would do and let this one pass, the young man just lost his father, there is still time for him to see the truth.
