Democrats fake religion like that.
To: alnick
It was a swipe at GWB and sad that he has some vitriol on his fathers day,,I think he and Patti were both problems. Poor thing,,they were so lucky and didn't know it. I think Ron is a secret lib or something.

I just don't see it either. I heard the words and I still don't see it. After all of the explanations I still don't see it.

I was thinking it was a swipe at BillyJeff, walking out of the church with that big old Bible in hand. Not with that leftist talking point about governing by a mandate of God thrown in. That was a direct shot at GWB.

Michael was the only one who ever shared a lot with his father. What's interesting is that Michael's the overtly political one, yet his tribute was completely personal, no politics whatsoever, not even implicitly.
To: alnick
He said that his father didn't wear his religion on his sleeve like some politicians who like to say they have a mandate from God. He went on to say, in a hardened, bitter voice, "there is a profound difference." He's right. George W. Bush has never said that.
I presume he's raking over the coals those who are pharisaical in their observance.
George W. Bush is not that.

It was a swipe at Bush. Ron hates Bush. I've seen him interviewed on MSNBC as a political consultant. There was no need for it.
He'll run for office, someday.
However, the flag is being folded on an honorable man.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
