Agreed. There is always much more going on behind the scenes than we know about until later.

Apparently Mr. Sdar has decided against martyrdom.

Virgins are in short supply.

That's right Mooqty, if you run real fast you can catch that parade that is passing you by and pretend you are leading it.

This guy has no control at all over his "militia", they are foreign thugs and thieves.

"Dubyas having a good week"

He sure is! Look around; the UN admits WMD were dismantled and shipped as scrap metal to numerous destinations throughout europe and the ME. ( See FR article today)

Putin tells a reporter at the G8 Summit the Dem's have no right to criticise Bush for going into Iraq.

Sadr's hoons are being taken out one by one, and he has obviously been told to change his tune. (Iraq has indicated they will include the death penalty in their Laws...he doesn't want to go to paradise.)

One half of the US is openly laughing at Kerry ( he is a buffoon) about 40% of the dems are simply embarrassed and the rest are radicals and anarchists. ( my view)

President Bush welcomes two new heads of state from countries: A. Afghanistan, where the Taliban once ruled and harboured al-Qada. B. Iraq, which will have full sovereignty on June 30.

Ronald Reagan's funeral reminds the entire world of what the great United States of America stands for; Freedom and Libery - personified poingnantly by the respect shown to the deceased by both Lech Walenza and Gorbachev.

I could go on, but that's enough for a start. Enough to make the DemoCRATS weep.

I read this section of the koran once (sorta falls under the know thy enemy category :) ).

Actually, it's all of the above. Paradise is a land of beauty, filled with trees laden heavy with fruit and lakes and rivers of fresh water abounding. Just what you'd believe would be heaven to a primitive arab living in the middle of a desert.

As part of it, they get a huge palace. In this palace is a huge bed covered with 100 sheets. Reclining upon those sheets are 72 "ever fresh virgins" (That's a neat trick - restoring virginity!), all his to do with what he pleases.

This is what primitive arabs considered paradise (actually, it doesn't sound bad to me either. heh)

Oh. The other 28 sheets? Hmmmmm. Those are for the 28 "ever fresh" prepubescent boys. (Ewwwwwwwwwww)

This is as I understand paradise from their perspective at least. And originally, paradise was only attainable by supporting the 5 pillars of Islam, Haj to Mecca, Charity etc.

Godspeed

Let us never forget he has American blood on his hands, a lot of it.

But if we let the Iraqis handle it, it will be done more swiftly and without all the liberal handwringing!

I think it would be better for us if an Iraqi took the Iraqi Michael Moore out. We can supply the tactical equip but if an Iraqi pulled the trigger or pushed the button it would show the other Iraqi's that their own people are capable of defending them and may encourage them to step up to the plate to play a hand in their own security.

Wouldn't that be nice if the rival cleric he had murdered could get a 'fresh start,' too? Or the Americans who he had murdered by his insurrection this past spring?

Stones and shoes were thrown in the clash at the shrine of Imam Ali leaving several people injured and forcing the cancellation of Friday prayers.

Yeah, yeah, we do this each week at Church, too. /sarcasm

Good grief...

I believe it was the Iraqi government that said it, not Bremer.

He's basically a little Hitler, a street thug, who think's he can intimidate his way into power. Now, if I were in charge of the CIA, I would off had him elimated once the invasion was a success, him and Chalibi, and all of this " torture" crap- screw this humulation crap, I'd intimidate them.
