Many Godly humns (eg> "Eternal Father, Strong to Save," "Immortal, Invisible") are very well done by the London Philharmonic on the "Hymns Triumphant" album. I only mention it because such albums are rather rare today.

A broader question to raise is why these reverential hymns have been replaced by the very "un-edifying" pop/contemporary "Jesus music" in the fundamentalist churches.
