I was watching when the camera cut to Bill and Hillary. He had his eyes much closed, and his lips were quite slack. One side of his mouth was kinda drooping, as if he had had a stroke. Then he kinda did a little smirk.
Hillary's eyes were at half mast, and she was squirming her face around as if she had lemon juice in her mouth. It reminded me of the time she rolled her eyes and made a face during a G. W. Bush speech before congress.
The camera shots posted do not show the grimaces each were making in a still shot.
I was beyond disgusted with both of them. A few remaining democrats have more class in their belly button lint than these two slobs do.
What makes me even madder is that no-one in the media has the "stones" to call these two on their puerile antics.
For any lurking liberals on this board, please know that this kind of disrespectful behavior does nothing to advance your cause with the American people. Those who you would hope to retain in your ever decreasing minority are being so turned off, that your chances of attracting candidates who can do an effective job of pushing the programs you love so, are going to be severely hampered.
You will only attract the delusional and corrupted. And the good people of America, both liberal and conservative, will turn against you.
You are so right about the Clinton's juvenile behavior; it parallels my thoughts that it was a stunt. This was their Clinton Wellstone Memorial Moment.
They dared not repeat the misbegotten behavior so publicly rejected at Wellstone's Memorial, so this was the next best way to show contempt for President Bush as he eulogized a better man than Clinton could ever hope to be.
Brit Hume did mention it on Fox. Your description of them is correct. My first post on the Reagan Tribute thread was when they were sitting there (eyes open) with strange looking scowls on their faces. Then on two different occasions that I saw they had their eyes closed. No one could have made up uglier pictures!!!
They were either sleeping or drugged.
Someone mentioned on another thread this was the first time they've slept together in years. LOL
