I honestly think he was faking it; . . .

. . .like a criminal hiding his face; he did not want the world to 'him' while Bush was speaking; making references to the decency with which Reagan treated his presidential office.

So, I think; he just pretended to not 'be there'.

Clinton's constant self-awareness; and with all those camera's; and his discomfiture with not be a 'speaker' was more than enough to keep him awake.

Clinton continues to display himself as a total fraud and dishonest man.

I agree, he's taking every advantage of what he considers just another photo-op. He was feigning boredom and Hillary refused to glance at President Bush when he returned to his seat....after yes, nailing it.

That's what I thought. They look like a couple of kids who are having to sit through a lecture about their bad behavior. They're just gonna' close their eyes and pretend that they're not there.
