I really don't see much in the way of politics here. Margaret Thatcher came pretty close, but kept to the big picture and global issues as opposed to partisan comments. This is a great departure from the Paul Wellstone funeral.
Thatcher was a participant and was recounting her memories. No greater tribute.
Republicans didn't object to say, Mondale running on continuing Wellstone's politics, or people talking about what Wellstone stood for. What was offensive about the Wellstone fune-rally was all the chanting and screeching "we will win." And nobody said that Carter and Clinton couldn't attend Reagan's funeral, the way Dick Cheney was disinvited from Wellstone's memorial; Carter and Clinton just weren't asked to speak. As usual, the Democrats distort the issues here.
