W is smiling. Hope that's an indicator he'll tell a joke or two. I don't know. Maybe it's just me, but jokes at funerals always make me uncomfortable. For me, I'd prefer he play it straight and somber.

He doesn't have to joke, but since everyone asked about President Reagan mentions his sense of humor, an acknowledgement of it would be appropriate, perhaps using the Gipper's own words.

There must be truth in humor, and a funeral is a way to remember the warmth and goodness of the lost one. We laugh and we cry and we say good-bye...I think W is sure of the truth of his words today in praising Reagan.

President Reagan ALWAYS told jokes.....and he lived 93 years (the last 10 not so well) I do NOT think he would be at ALL offended by a joke....he'd be delighted ....obviously just IMHO

I heard one of Reagan's speech writers say that the President should show some humor in his speech today as a tribute to the late president because of his well-known humor.
