On some other board, some Reagan hater claimed that he had unarmed college kids killed in California. I didn't have time to reply with a question asking for more detail on this.
Anyone know anything about this? Or is this high IQ wannabe leftist mixing him up with Nixon and California with Ohio.

I think the leftist nut must have got it from this recent hate column by Greg Palast. It doesn't say anyone was killed, but hey, when your a leftist, if the facts are inconvenient, you can just ignore them and make up stuff. Do you think it might have been Michael Moore you were talking with?
I remember as a student in Berkeley the words screeching out of the bullhorn, "The Governor of the State of California, Ronald Reagan, hereby orders this demonstration to disperse" … and then came the teargas and the truncheons. And all the while, that fang-hiding grin from the Gipper.
