I love those words; they bespeak a desire for England to remain in God's grace.

I think someone said that the song being done is the same tune but different words, obviously! ;o)

I certainly do lack for grace, particularly when the Imam is representing a religion that says "There is no god but Allah".

Hopefullly the Imam and other muslims in attendance will hear something today that will change their hearts. That is truly God-sized work.

Excuse me .. you are naive .. satan shows up whether you want him to or not. The key is .. do you allow that spirit to affect you or do you take authority over it ..??

I've seen people who were demon possessed show up at church events. I saw this couple come in one evening during a special 3 day meeting, and sit just a few rows in front of me. I kept watching her because she was exhibiting some very unusual behavior. I alerted our staff at the church and those of us in authority at the church positioned ourselves around her (a proper distance not to alarm anyone), and then we just watched.

When the service was over and people were standing in a line to greet the guest speaker, some of us kinda stalked her to make sure she didn't attack the guest speaker. We were all relieved when she left.

The following evening she returned .. we did the same thing. 3/4 of the way through the service, she got up and left .. she never came back. The spirit controlling her realized there was no opening for it in our church.

"Nancy Reagan invited the imam."

I wonder what your source of this information is.

"When you die, you can have anybody you want at your funeral."

Really? In that case, I want you to be here.

This was a traditional Christian service.

for example: THE BLESSING, BISHOP CHANE The God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus Christ, the great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in his sight; And the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, be among you, and remain with you always. Amen.

Well, now nobody's guessing, since you've let the cat out of the bag.

"Also, does your hatred of Muslims extend to nations that are allies of the US such as Kuwait, Turkey, Pakistan, Jordan, Egypt, Indonesia?"

First of all I don't hate Muslims. I am a realist however and I recognize that all of the United States' current enemies are Muslims. I do recognize that virtually every American service person killed in service over the last 20 years was killed by Muslims. I do realize that the greatest attack ever against the American homeland was perpetrated by Muslims. I do know that when Americans are harmed "the Muslim street" erupts in celebration.

Turkey an ally - I spent a year in Ankara and experienced first hand (as in in-person) many anti-American actions. Remember last year when the Turks wouldn't allow us to use their land or air space in OIF. I know you're familiar with our term RINO well how about AINO?

Egypt an ally? Why wasn't Mubarack at RWR's memorial. Where was Egypt in OIF?

Pakistan an ally? I spent a year there also. I was stationed at the USAF Station (not base) in Peshawar when the Pakistani government ordered us to leave, permanently in 1969. Why won't this "ally" allow us to cross the Afghan border in pursuit of Al Queada and UBL? AINO?

What has a Jordanian done for us lately, other than caution us not to "destabilize the region?" Don't you remember the Jordanians in Aman cheering as skud missles were launched willy nilly by S Hussein during Desert Storm? AINO.

Indonesia...? Right. Care to vacation in Bali, 200 killed by Muslim terrorists in 2002? Care to visit Jakarta? 14 killed by Muslim terrorists in 2003? How can a place that is in internal upheaval and has had three governments in as many years be an ally of anyone? I don't even know that we have any AINO with them.

And Kuwait! Well we pulled their bacon...I guess I mean mutton out of the fire in 1991. Ally? They are just a bunch of little despots who need us to protect their little sheikdom so that they can afford to charge a 747 on their Mastercard...priceless. AINO.

I notice that you left out Saudi Arabia. AINO.

Are the following allies? Syria, Iran, Yemen...Palestine???

No I don't hate muslims anymore than I would have hated Germans or Japanese during WWII - but they were enemies as is the Muslim World now.

As far as OIF goes, that was an effort to center the War On Terror where it belongs, in the region where terrorism originates, and by the way we liberated Muslims from oppression. You watch Iraq after we leave.

Finally, I've noticed that a goodly part of the anti-American sentiment and urgings to attack Americans were issued by Imams and Ayatollahs (some here in the US)...men of God...hah.

Why does a terrorist incident make Indonesia anti-American -- are you saying the people or government of Indonesia are to blame? By that token, Oklahoma City was the fault of all Americans.

Bottom line is, we aren't at war with all Islam or all Muslims - - in fact, quite a few Muslim countries are on our side.

Kuwait - - They are just a bunch of little despots

Then I guess we shouldn't have fought the Gulf War. Is that what you're saying? And we shouldn't be liberating Iraqis today, because the people we're liberating are Muslims.

"North Korea? Cuba? Even the Chinese still rattle sabres."

Cuba is not our enemy - if Castro and his gang ever die, Cuba will be our friend.

North Korea is our enemy, albeit impotent against us - I admit I overlooked that.

China is not our enemy - they are our competitor. Are Ford and GM enemies?

Isn't the same true of Iraq, post-Saddam? And yet these are Muslim people.

"Isn't the same true of Iraq, post-Saddam? And yet these are Muslim people."

I am not optimistic. In my long post to you, towards the end I said "watch what happens to Iraq after we leave."

I am afraid that there will be tribal fighting and many would be despots will vie for the S Hussein position.

Take this little cleric al sadr for example; he's 31 years old, his father was an Ayatollah who was murdered by S Hussein's thugs in 1999, yet he is our enemy. I usually am not a cynic, I'm usually "positive", but I am afraid this is an exception. It cost 200 American lives to depose S Hussein and we've lost 600 more American lives there so far - "post-saddam" as you call it.

I am hopeful, but I wouldn't bet on things going well in Iraq without the cost of more American lives or after Americans have left. In fact I wouldn't bet on the interim government living until elections.

And after we leave, don't be surprised if the Iranian muslims decide that their sovereignty over shat al-arab should be expanded Westward...after all that was set by a treaty between the Shah and S Hussein, who they think were both scoundrels.

Speaking of Iran; when Khomeini kicked the bucket, the Iranians did not become our "friends" again as they supposedly were under the Shah.

Islam was "created" by Mohammed who was a murderer, pillager, rapist and died by being murdered (poison). At least this is what I've gleaned from my reading. How can followers of such a man be "friends" of America?

So the whole US invasion was a waste of time?

"So the whole US invasion was a waste of time?"

No not at all, Papa Doc Hussein and the two Baby Docs or gone. The "possibility" of a democracy in the hole of the muslim dougnut has incredible long term potential. While I denigrated our "alliance" with the Turks, I feel strongly that Turkey is currently the best muslim state and it's roughly democratic.

If all muslim states were like Turkey, terrorism would certainly diminish.
