Unless YOU have PROOF that a particular angle is not conducive in our search for information and, God willing, preempting an attack of some kind, why would you have a problem with it?.

Are you at AT ALL familiar with Islamic Eschatology? Do you even know what it means? Here let me help you out....

A "MILITANT" ISLAMIC SCENARIO FOR AMERICA and THE WORLD

      In Islam, Muhammad was the "Prophet of the Last Nation" [the nation of Islam]. Muhammad delivered his last sermon at Arafat in March of 632, three months before he died. Muslims believe that during this sermon, the last passage of their holy book, the Qur'an, was revealed to them...In the process of world domination, the ones branded for elimination are among them, the Jews and Christians ["...may Allah destroy them... (9.30)]. And as seen in other verses from the Qur'an, "Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection [submission to Islam]. (9.29)

     Interestingly, those spared after the "sacred months" would be the repentant (through a declaration of immunity and protection) as those converted to Islam. (9.3; 9.5) This is the reason for the warnings to Muslims living in America and to the Infidels - The Muslims in the U.S. are considered, for the most part, apostate, and the Infidels (or nonbelievers) have a chance to convert or submit to Islam before they are judged by the great fire. "Allah has promised [only to the believing men and the believing women] gardens, beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them, and goodly dwellings in gardens of perpetual abode..." (9.72).

To Islamic extremists, terrorism may have a greater purpose, even more so than causing fear and panic among people. Terrorism is purification (the cleansing) of people (the cursed; especially nonMuslim) by fire either causing repentance and submission to Islam or coming judgment through death. The cursed are the people of the "left hand," "And (as to) the companions of the left hand (mash'ama); how wretched are the companions of the left hand!" This form of punishment is also pictured in the Qur'an [39.60 and 56] - "And on the day of resurrection you shall see those who lied against Allah; their faces shall be blackened. Is there not in hell an abode for the proud?"

[56.41] And those of the left hand, how wretched are those of the left hand!
[56.42] In hot wind and boiling water,
[56.43] And the shade of black smoke,
[56.44] Neither cool nor honorable.
[56.45] Surely they were before that made to live in ease and plenty.
[56.46] And they persisted in the great violation.

Many Muslims' believe the 1,000 year Millennium will occur in the United States, but only after a great conflagration/fire that will burn much of the U.S. Accordingly, the Holy Qur'an indicates the great fire will burn up the wicked (nonMuslims), destroying the evil off the face of the Earth. It is necessary for the old way of life to be eliminated before the new way of life can proceed.

The Great Conflagration

In the Qur'an, Al-Baqara, Surah 2:201, it reads, "Among them are those who adjure...save us from the doom of the Fire." Islamic eschatology/prophecy began a countdown for America with a tragic announcement - The Two Twin Towers burned from the middle and crumbled on the ninth month of the new century (23 Rajab 1422). This happened on September 11, 2001, with the destruction of the World Trade Center. After the WTC destruction, the U.S./allies attacked the Mujahideen [1422/2001] in Afghanistan.

     The battle will continue with the gathering of Mujahideen/Al Qaeda/Mahdi's great army, etc., [and according to Islamic prophecy] until at least 2014.

2001 - WTC announcement/awakening to shake the world [the New Millennium began in 2001 and marked the beginning of the Islamic countdown; a planned disappearance coinciding with the Jewish Rosh haShanah];

2003 - Ramadan (Ramazan) - Imam Mahdi announcement proclaimed to the world [the splitting of the Moon/lunar eclipse(s) of Ramadan; Al Mahdi is invisible and in hiding/seclusion]. The double eclipse occurred Nov 9 and 23rd. Both eclipses occurred during Ramadan 2003 between Oct 27 thru Nov 27th.

2004 - 2005 Ramadan - Mahdi's emergence planned (the two eclipses of 2003 to 2005)

From 2003 to 2005 - the only befitting time-frame for this part of Islamic eschatology to begin unfolding. There will be no other time-frame that even comes close to this for several thousand years; many significant "signs in the sky" will point to this time-frame as the most prophetic time in Islamic history.

2006 - Mahdi will emerge from hiding/seclusion as the new Khaleefah [1427] to rule for seven (7) years. He will be revealed first to the Inner Circle of 12 and then to the 313 Mujahidin of the Mahdi (or Taliyah Al-mahdi); 2013 - Mahdi's armies will fight Dajjal and his army in a great battle [Sura al-Qiyamah Ayaat 7-9];

2014 - Mahdi/Islamic followers seek to conquer the world for Islam - as a result, all people will recite and follow one Kalimah [word] and one religion [Islam]

What is the prophecy combined with Islamic eschatology?

In one of his taped messages, he predicted his demise "in the belly of an eagle."

"...hijri reveals the hour, ..Seven years of sleep, resting from the fray, rajifah, the Earth trembles,

awakened by the shout, hearkened to the Day, the five stand ready, so very near, not far away, restless spirits,

d’Jinn, and dajjal they see...Infidels (the Dar al-Islam and Dar al-Harb), pound and weaken...

the roadmap is clear - softened to deceit, To the North and to the West, hidden from the light,

Before the Day of Doom, the Final Hour, the sleepers will arise..." (2)

In Islam, Satan causes Muslims to forget and Satan interjects thoughts or words into peoples minds / mouth. This is the basis of the "Satanic Verses". Satan is created from some type of "smokeless fire", and God uses comets or meteors to strike at the Jinn and possibly Satan as well.ee \Jin"nee\, n.; pl. Jinn. [Ar.] (Arabian & Mohammedan Myth.) A genius or demon;

the Kaaba, the rock in the centre of Mecca which is revered in Islam, is at least in part meteoritic in origin;

The Rise of a CometThe Rise of a Comet as sated in numerous hadeeth's;

A star with a luminous tail will rise from the East before the Mahdi emerges. (Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Rasul Barzanji, Al-Isha‘ah li-ashrat al-sa‘ah, p. 200)

A comet will be appearing in the East, giving out illumination before he arrives. (Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntazar, p. 53)

The rise of that star will occur after the eclipse of the Sun and the Moon. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-zaman, p. 32)

"... A comet appears when kings go on the pilgrimage to Mecca for travel, the wealthy for commerce, the poor for rest, the hafiz to show off. (Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rasul Barzanji, Al-Isha'ah li-ashrat al-sa'ah, p.123)

As referred to by the hadiths,

In 1986 (Hijri 1406), Halley's comet passed by Earth. The comet is a bright, shining star that travels from East to West. This happened after the lunar and solar eclipses of 1981 and 1982 (Hijri 1401-1402).

The concurrence of this star's rise with other signs of the Mahdi's emergence indicates that Halley's comet is the star pointed to in the hadith.

Imam Rabbani provides the following information about the comet which is one of the signs of Mahdi:

A tailed star will be born from the East and spread its light. Its daily direction will be from East to West. (Imam Rabbani, Letters of Rabbani, 2-1170)

Throughout history, the appearances of comets have been the times of very important developments happened for Muslims. Indeed, some of these developments became milestones in Islamic history. Some of these occurrences were narrated by the people around the Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace):

When this comet first appeared;
The people of the Prophet Noah (pbuh) perished.
The Prophet Abraham (pbuh) was cast into fire.
Pharaoh and his people who fought against the Prophet Moses (pbuh) perished.
The Prophet Yahya (pbuh) passed away.
When you see that comet, take refuge in God from the evil of fitnah (tribulation).

Other important occurrences that are said to have happened with the appearance of this comet are as follows:

Jesus (pbuh) was born.
Our Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) started to receive the first revelation.
The Ottoman Empire emerged.
Constantinople (Istanbul) was conquered by Sultan Mehmed II.

Some interesting figures about Halley, the comet

It is interesting that some figures pertaining to the comet is the multiples of number “19.”

The newspapers in 1986 revealed the first photographs of the comet Halley and its icy nucleus taken by the Soviet Vega 1 space ship when it came as close as 5500 miles to it. Cronicle March 20, 1986, p.1278

Halley appears every 76 years;76 = 19 x 4

This comet was last seen in 1406 (according to the Islamic calendar) 1406 = 19 x 74

The following is also interesting: as we calculated above, 1406 is 74 times of 19. "74" is also the surah number of the Surat al-Muddaththir, the surah which refers to the miracle of 19 in the Qur'an.

The 30th verse of Surat al-Muddaththir (surah number: 74) reveals that the number "19" is a means of mercy for believers and fitnah (tribulation) for disbelievers.

This striking relation of Halley with the number 19 may indicate a fitnah (tribulation) upon disbelievers and a mercy on believers.

The 1st and 2nd verses of the Surat al-Muddaththir is, God commands to our Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) "You who are enveloped in your cloak! Arise and warn." The meaning of these verses are explicit. Yet, these verses may also have a second covered meaning that refer to the End Times. The word, "(the one) enveloped in cloak" may well refer to the Mahdi who is from our Prophet's (may God bless him and grant him peace) descent and whose appearance will be signaled by the rise of the Halley in 1406 (the Islamic calendar).

Al-Muddaththir (Surah 74)

74/1 You who are enveloped in your cloak!

74/2 Arise and warn.

Muddaththir: someone who conceals, hides himself

A last great miraculous and sign of Halley: the appearance of Halley in 1986 (Hijri 1406 according to the Islamic calendar) is its 19th appearance since 607 AC, the year when the Prophet Mohammed (may God bless him and grant him peace) was honored with prophecy.

Of the 72 Signs Muslims Are Expecting Near Doomsday, here are just a few:

15.   The usurper of Ama’naat will be considered honest and honorable.

30.   Gold will become common.

68.   Either Allah will send a Red Storm upon you.

69.   Or Earthquakes.

71.   Or a rain of rocks from the skies. Asteroids? Meteors?

Muslims collected writings of the schools of Alexandria and the best philosophical works of ancient Greek. There were special departments under qualified professors for promotion and prosecution of special branches of study. Astronomical observations were made in Mamun's reign. Among these equinoxes, eclipses, the apparitions of comets and other celestial bodies was most important.
