I went down there on my lunch hour around 1 p.m. to survey the scene. The crowd was easily half of what is reported now. Only half the bike rack lines on the east side of Third St. were filled with people. Tonight it looks like they are filled, with the overflow going over to the west side of Third St. They have set overflow line space to Seventh St. I'm heading over there in an hour or so with some D.C. Chapter members to pay our respects.

There was a thunderstorm watch earlier, but thankfully the storms passed D.C. by.
