The way he smoothed it so fast kind of bothered me. And then they high tailed it out of there. Quickly. I can see now that he probably didn't want to start sobbing in front of the world.

I think you're seeing things. They made a dignified entry and exit and it was perfect.

I agree. The President went in and offered a prayer and touched the casket of the Great Man.

Now Reagan belongs to the ages. The service is about Reagan, not about Bush. The memorial is about Reagan, not Bush. Bush knows this. He will have a chance to eulogize tomorrow. But for now, this is a chance for the people to bid goodbye to their 40th President.

That's the difference between Bush and that pompous ass he's running against. Kerry's faux grief in Simi Valley was more than I could bear.
