Posted on 06/10/2004 2:28:07 PM PDT by alisasny
Alot of dignataries are now showing up to pay respects. McCain, Guiliani, Gorby, Karzai, etc.
Cspan has live coverage. Bush expected at 7 but could be earlier? He is then going to visit with Mrs. Reagan.
Guard changes about every half hour at .28 and .58 of the hour. One is going on right now.

It's more than that, I think. I hope NOT, but I think so.

That still doesn't mean kerry hasn't tied one of the guards up, stashed him in a closet, and is going to stand guard for the next 30 minutes. he was a vietnam vet, you know..
To: goodnesswins
If kerry shows up in rotunda he will now officially be known as a Reagan stalker.

"Doesn't he ever do anything on time? I thought someone said they had to be turned in before leaving office."I heard on Fox News this morning, that there is a statute that requires a retired President to make his funeral plans within a year of his leaving office.
Well...I guess that all depends on what the definition of "statute"...is...

If it begins to tremble a bit, you know that he is going to be forcing back tears a moment later. He was at that point just now.
Yes, he was clearly about to lose it. He unashamedly admits that he is an emotional guy. Bless his heart!

Me too. One thing though, it makes me miss my parents, even more. Here too. The WWII generation were tougher than nails. I aspire to their fortitude.
