Yes, "Liberalism" (a misnomer, of course, hence the quotation marks) is decadence. Half of the American electorate is afflicted with it.

In contrast, the American Heartland, is healthy and still in its ascendancy. It is the last great bastion of Western Civilization on earth.

The fate of the world--and the fate of our children--depend upon who prevails in this Manichaean struggle between the healthy American Heartland and decadence.

If the Heartland prevails, Americans will bring The American Dream of liberty, justice, and prosperity to all the people of the world.

If the forces of decadence triumph, the world will fall into a horrible dark age.

These are the stakes.

Thank you. We both share the same ideals and religion and that seems to be a good start and our families are rather close as well. The only thing that I can do is pray that god will help us make the right choices during our lives.

Well, she definitely wouldn't pass EU unfree speech guidelines, so I guess she's out for this year's Euro. parliamentary elections.

Why is Bardot still living in France?

France is lucky to have at least one man left.

Tonight Michael Savage called Brigitte Bardot "the last man in France," apparently for her stance on the Islamic issue. It was a compliment.

So then it is safe to say that Michael Savage is an idiot for identifying himself with her racism and "animal rights" extremism.

"Why do they say they are Muslim American?"

My observations are that they don't. They say they are Arabs, or they say they are moslems. I rarely if ever hear them say they are Americans of any part.

"Yes, "Liberalism" (a misnomer, of course, hence the quotation marks) is decadence."

Liberalism in Europe is right wing, not left. It means free markets and economic conservatism. The opposite of "liberal" is "socialist"

You're right, of course. The meaning of "liberalism" in Europe is far more correct, in its reference to freedom, freedom of thought, and liberty, than "Liberalism" in America. American "Liberalism" in fact means the opposite of liberalism, in an Orwellian paradox similar to "war is peace", "love is hate", etc.

American "Liberalism" stiffles freedom of speech and freedom of thought and opposes freedom of action. It supports socialism and its prerequisite, totalitarianism, and seeks to control every facet of life, from smoking tobacco to how much water your washing machine can use. It urges huge, powerful, exploitive, and inevitably tyrranical government. It is decadence.

As you point out, "liberalism" in Europe means something quite different.

The decadence mis-known in America as "Liberalism" has afflicted Europe, perhaps more than America, but it is known as "the left", "the far left", or perhaps "socialism", but socialism is only a part of it.

Do you agree? What do you think? How would you express it?
