My parents were taking a holiday in Las Vegas the day President Kennedy was assassinated. The town closed down and they had to come back home.

My parents were taking a holiday in Las Vegas the day President Kennedy was assassinated. I lived in Las Vegas on that day. I don't recall what happened on the strip but the casinos did turn out all the lights downtown.
