Too bad someone didn't notify Al Queda that there was a fat, juicy target over at the AMPAS that night.

Your first movie should be based on the book "Unintended Consequences".

Grin. You are so very kind, and I am very appreciative. Vindication isn't it so much as a desire for more people to "get it." The Left has achieved all its many gains through incrementalism. Not all incremental steps are big ones. Most are small; tiny, even. So small, that most people don't even notice. Or they figure it's not worth the effort to fight. Then, one day, we wake up to find that our children can't pray in school, or marriage is being redefined, or we've turned our sovereignty over to a Euro-Left cabal dressed in United Nations blue.
I know, I know. The SAG statement was relatively harmless in the overall sweep of the Leftist movement. It's just that I don't want to give up one more inch of ground to them.

That's pretty strong stuff coming from O'Donnell, an avowed liberal and certainly no huge Reagan fan politically.

Subtle incrementalism...the big red tool.
Wasn't there a great article recently by the highest ranking communist ever to defect? A Romanian major?
He exposed their methods, and what really stayed with me was that he said the communists knew it would take many years, but eventually Americans would forget where the anti-war sentiments first originated, and it would become part of American "culture."
This way they could break down every major institution: education, churches, marriage, the military, and mainly through the entertainment industry.
Nap time's OVER.

...mainly through the entertainment industry. One more though, if I may, before going to lunch and leaving the internet until Monday: This is precisely what Ronald Reagan learned in the 1940's and fought against for the rest of his life. The entertainment industry is the perfect propaganda tool for those who want to break down the fiber of this great nation. We have what some call a "culture war" today because the Left has been so successful at subtly slipping Marxist-style social radicalism into our entertainment.

Thank you for the great posts and threads you've launched this week. You've really helped.

Please let us know what you find out. I'm going to call them tomorrow and ask if they have any photos of Reagan in their offices. It will be interesting to hear the truth from you as I doubt I will get it from them via phone.

"The Left has achieved all its many gains through incremental-ism. Not all incremental steps are big ones. Most are small; tiny, even. So small, that most people don't even notice".
And when will the Right begin defunding the Left by denying them our hard earned money.
Its about time we consider who they fund.
Its gotten insane when JohnFkngKerry's daughter is over in Cannes trying to peddle her litte version of Vietnam.
I can hardly wait when Henry Thomason's propaganda comes out.
There is a major culture war it especially hurts the undereducated.

I have decided how I'm going to do this, too.
I'm going to write to Melissa and ask her if it is true that all references to Ronald W. Reagan have been removed, and where they are, if they exist.
If she says there is no evidence at SAG offices that RWR was indeed a former union President, then I shall inform her that I am no longer going to be a union member, and also intend to take my union dues that I pay each year, and donate them to the Republican National Committee in Ronald W. Reagan's honor!!!
