Wasn't it something like "Black Jack" ? (I know thw was Jackie's father's nickname but I wanna say that was it.) I was a very young girl and so I was impacted by the visuals very much, some of the facts didn't register as vividly.

Whoever I was listening to on I think msnbc said the horse was named Black Jack Pershing (!).
I had to remind the talking head on tv that that was the name of the General that the horse was named after, and the horse itself was named only Black Jack!
