its hard to get a sense of how large that crowd is. CNBC estimated it at "15 to 20,000". I think Baghdad Bob is their crowd counter.

Hopefully people weren't scared off from coming because of the length of the waits and line reported from Simi Valley. The capitol can accomodate a larger rate of people it appears.
