Was earlier talking to the kids (10, 9 and 7) about what was going on, and why it was important. Also explained the military nature of the ceremony. So, on my way for a bathroom break, what do I find but an army of GI Joe dolls, saluting the television set. Gotta love those kids. The next generation is what it is all about. And no, I don't mean it as "it's fer the chillun"
And thank you for buying GI Joes for your kids!

I have got to do some checking on my grandkids and see what they understand , if their parents bothered to let them see it on the tube.
Aww that is so cool.
The WWII folks will always be The Greatest Generation, but I think we X-ers and our kids are going to really be something when it's all said and done.
