How vapid and aimless are the Bush haters of America's far left? Jules Witcover's column today in the Baltimore Sun offers a perfect illustration.Reporting from a left-wing conference in Washington, Witcover noted that speaker Howard Dean had the usual suspects in the sort of frenzy John Kerry could never spark.
Leftist commentator Jim Hightower then roused the crowd by saying: "I don't care if John Kerry is a sack of cement. We'll carry him to victory."
Then he remarked: "I have a two-step program for you. First we get rid of Bush. Then we get rid of Kerry."
Ah, such a rebel. Just like Marlon Brando in "The Wild One." Or "The Island of Dr. Moreau."

That is one of the most frightening photos I have EVER seen. I may have to use that to get my kids to behave. "
Settle down or THIS will come get you in the middle of the night and take you to her village which will raise you"
OK thats pretty abusive I probably shouldn't do that
GYAAAH!
Great...now I need to go boil my eyes.
Thanks, Sarge.
Ah, yes. Jim Hightower, Molly-Ivins-butt-boy and drugstore cowboy.
You must give us warnings before you post those pics...we need time to turn away!...my eyes!!!
PLEASE put a warning when posting a "H. Clinton" picture.
I had just eaten lunch!
I think that I'll blow that pic up & hang it in my garage. I've got mouse-problems...
LOL - Kerry is in deep doo doo!

Would it be OK if I changed "cement" to a word that will get me banned ?
Once John Kerry is elected to the job, it would pretty hard to dislodge him.
Unless there is a plan underway that is even more dreadful and morbid than anyone dare think.
But then, there is precedent, in that a President has resigned in the past, and several have had untoward incidents that resulted in their demise while in office.
To be sure, it would take a MAJOR disclosure to convince John Kerry to volunteer his resignation. Of course, there may be some back-door information that, carefully revealed, may make that decision a little more compelling. But since he is a liberal, and therefore a member of a protected class, he may still adamantly refuse to budge from the post.
Well, some illness could claim him. It was not enough to cause Woodrow Wilson to relinquish power, even though he was almost totally incapacitated during the last months of his Presidency, and the office was effectively in the hands of Colonel North and Mrs. Wilson. There is a Constitutional amendment that provides for Presidential succession in the event of serious disability that could affect the imcumbent's ability to discharge the duties of the office.
Impeachment seems highly unlikely, as a recent attempt to use this strategy fell flat, mostly because of partisan politics.
That leaves the possibility of removal from office by reason of death. If Herself is anywhere within range, either as sitting VP or somewhere in the designated line of succession to the Presidency, well, there seems to be an established series of "isolated incidents" that have been described elsewhere as "Arkancides".
Be afraid, John Forbes Kerry. Be very afraid.
Lordamercy, saw this female in my nightmare two nights ago. Woke up suddenly and she was hovering over me all in black. Scared the peewaddlin' out of me. Had to get up and take a sleeping potion to settle my nerves and get back to sleep.
You read my mind.
I swear, if you stare into those eyes long enough, you can feel the soul being sucked from your body.
How appropriate - a Dementor.
I think my monitor just CHOKED!
