I have an idea: I've heard that Fr*nce has beautiful countrysides, such as Provence. Why don't we just kick out the Fr*nch (like they would put up a fight!), and establish the entire country as a vacation resort. 51st state? Wouldn't that just chap 'em? But there's really nothing they could do about it. Except surrender.
Let's make 'em all move to Jabouti or Khazakstan or somewhere like that.

According to the reports Lady Thatcher no longer speaks publicly so the tape was her idea.

Yes indeed, and for various reasons, some having to do with my political leanings, and some being more opportunistic, in a way.
So we're only 7% ? But I don't feel all that isolated. Didn't one of your great statesmen say that a man with a good cause made a majority ?lol
This poll really made me angry when I first saw it on FR (strangely enough, I missed it in the French media). First, it's pointless and useless : only a small percentile of those people know anything about the two candidates, so the value of their input in this issue is about zilch.
But above all, I think it's really making fun of democracy. I strongly believe that the coming US election belongs to no-one except the US citizens. Non-nationals are entitled to an opinion or a preference, of course, but they should keep it to themselves until after the election and not flaunt it like that, as if they had anything to do with the due course of the political process.

This list is very limited. I would have imagined a lot more of real leaders of big countries?

Tell Chirac, that the reason their economy has declined dramatically is because I, like many, continue to boycott French vacations, Grey Goose vodka and French champagne... Let him "stew" over that fact while he refuses to attend the funeral. :-] He can stew over the Uniroyal and Michelin tires I did NOT buy a couple of months ago, also.

... French quisling Jacques Chirac is not only refusing to attend former President Ronald Reagan's funeral on Friday, his government doesn't even list a representative who will attend. Why is this a problem?

Slowly, but surely, France is becoming just another 3rd world hell-hole like the ones they left behind in Africa,
Southest Asia and South America.

I believe he could easily bribe the Chinese and the Russians into kicking the French off the UN Security Council and replacing them with the Germans. Forgive my ignorance of UN protocol. Is this possible?
To: kattracks
Chirac ought to give up his French citizenship and join the DNC in America. He would fit right in.

I remember when the despicable Lyndon Johnson refused to attend Churchill's funeralgiving rise to Tom Lehrer's joke that when someone suggested he send Hubert Humphrey (his VP) instead, he said "Who's Hubert?"

Can we find a site for the French government where we can send email and give them our personal thoughts to their lack of taste......

After Chirac's declarations of eternal friendship between the U.S. and France at the D-Day memorial service, I would suggest that actions speak louder than words.

That's OK... he would stupid(er) at the ceremony trying to stand in front of all of the cameras... with his hands traditionally straight up in the French salute...

I vote we kick the French vote out of the UN and replace it with Poland. After all, France did not contribute to the win in WWII (only the French Resistance). That way, neither of our enemies has a vote and our true partner, Poland, would.

We should all be relieved that this communist filth will not sully the momentous occasion with his unwanted presence.
