McCain: Sure. American's haven't sacraficed anything in this war. I think its time that they do some sacraficing. Roll back the tax cuts to the rich, cut defense spending..and.....increase..

Wait a minute. He said one of the sacrifices we should make in order to defend our country is to cut defense spending????

Roll back the tax cuts to the rich, ....

"The Rich" don't pay very much in income taxes, Senator.

Earners do.

You buddy, John Kerry, lives a $500 million lifestyle. However, he was paying less income taxes than I was on his first 2003 Form 1040 and a little bit more income tax than I was on his ammended 2003 Form 1040.

I certainly respect his time as a POW fighting for our country -however he has a whiney-liberal aspect to his demeanor (sp?)
I used to get frustrated when certain guests are on these shows...now I just turn the channel ...I do not want to use my energy in a negative way - I guess like right now talking about this!
A little story ---
Today in Queens New York - I saw two people with clip-boards which said "Beat Bush" on the back so one could see while walking - as we passed they said -"Want to help beat Bush?"
I said "I Love Bush and Thank God someone is finally fighting the evil terroists!" They defintely did not want to talk to me...!

Commander Queeg! We have a nice room with STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM AND ALL OF THE BALL BEARINGS YOU WOULD EVER NEED....God;I can't decide if Mcainiac is REALLY NUTS or as you guys referenced earlier,a closet(sleeper?)communist.Hell, when he's not spitting in the mouths of actual Reagan-conservatives;he's co-writing gun control/banning legislation and giving aid and comfort to John F'ng Kerry. Not to mention his assistance to Kerry against the other Vietnam veteran;Sampley. You remember ;he got sick of the Kerry "photo-opping "the Wall and had a "moment with him....

McCain doesn't want to be bothered with details. He just wants to give you his "vision"

McCain has some kind of hex on him. He is bad bad bad luck.

He was on the USS Forrestal when it caught fire, shot down and captured in Vietnam, one of the Keating Five, loser in presidential election, cancer, his campaign reform bill was a joke, etc.

Why would anyone listen to McCain? Unless they want to hear what he says then do exactly the opposite?

Having to listen to McCain isn't sacrifice enough?

That's right, to be effective the sacrifice has to be totally voluntary. The beauty of my suggestion is that it co-opts one of the lefty causes and turns it around to support something that they oppose.

Kerry got the idea before McCain...Kerry had his own film crew with him in Vietnam. I am suprised McCain doesn't have his own film crew.

Maybe Pat Toomey should go to Arizona and become a Senator.
