The last laugh he will have is that the huge outpouring of love will counteract anything these desperate libs can say. People can only be fooled so long and then the truth comes out. I just hope that the Gipper can see all of this love.

For all of us who left the left behind during the Reagan years, his best epitaph is something he said to the doctors when he was wheeled into an emergency room after being shot: "I hope you're all Republicans."
That's my favorite Reagan one-liner. Any guy that can joke like that after being shot is one tough sob.

The media thinks aboo grab, aboo grab, aboo grab is a winner this time. That's not a Clinton joke line either.
Did anyone else notice that when the hearse was stopped at the library, the honor guard was taking the casket out, the sun came out from the clouds, just as the honor guard removed the casket. The strong sun shinning at that moment from the overcast skies was like the heavens were smiling on the Gipper. I ran it back slom-mo on my dual channel TIVO and it was almost as if it were on que. It was eerie. The guy who was doing the live stand-up for MSNBC commented on how it was really awesome.
Tax cuts worked then and lookee here they are working now. I wonder when Bush is going to have a commercial saying that.

It's like giving firearms to chimpanzees. Someone is gonna get shot to pieces.</> Push this metaphor a little further and we understand the left's fear of the 2nd Amendment. They equate mankind with chimpanzees.

In the article, Peter Bronson explains how Reagan outsmarted those who insulted his intelligence. He starts out by showing how the liberal inteligentia make the mental mistake of believing in their mental superiority. Then he says Reagan overcame these self-appointed brain kings by using humor, simplicity and truth to destroy their web of complexity.
The way I see it, Reagan thought that intelligence was important, but it was not the most important thing. To Reagan, human freedom and truth were more important.
In a way, it takes a lot of intelligence to know the true value and limitations of intelligence. Reagan was able to achieve this higher level of intelligence.
Liberals, on the other hand, think that intelligence is all that matters. As a result, they're one notch below Reagan on the brain scale. It's the reason why Reagan was able to defeat them every step of the way.

This is one of my other favorite Reagan jokes:
How do you tell a Communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin.

Was it Reagan - "It's not that our liberal friends know so much - it's just that so much of it isn't true"
Or something like that.
