UN wins promises of aid for Palestinian refugees

GENEVA - The United Nations said on Tuesday it was confident it had raised tens of millions of dollars in new international aid for Palestinian refugees at a special conference called to overcome donor fatigue.
The Palestinians are running low on money for explosives and RPGs. They're using them up at an enormous rate in Iraq and all that stuff costs money. Hey, running those madrasas day and night to turn out suicide-bomers doesn't come cheap either. Plus, with Saddam's funding dried up, they need refunding from somewhere... I'm sure Arafat does not want to dip into his own personal "rainy day" billions to keep funding terror...
There is an idiomatic expression in Russian, used to answer a beggar when one is not in a giving mood: "Bog podast" [The Lord will give you].
Maybe they could ask AraFat to dig into his rainy day funds in offshore banks and hidden accounts... (A Billion plus and likely more)

I know some of the Palis can temporarily be termed "refugees" when their houses are bulldozed for tunnels, hiding armament - yeah, I would call them refugees as they set off for the mother-in-laws...
BUT - after 53 years, they are no longer refugees, they are GHETTO SQUATTERS who prefer to stack up and live off handouts, while continuing to whine about no land, no food, no respect. I never want to see ONE MORE DIME of taxpayer money going to support them.
The UN makes a special definition for Palestinian refugees that is different from all others. They also get more per capita charity by far even though they do not have the most desperate conditions.
