.

An angry CLINTON has been shut out from speaking at REAGAN's Memorial Service in Washington, D.C.

A quiet CARTER has also.

A passed on REAGAN1 will re-elect BUSH2 in 2004

A breathing CLINTON couldn't even re-elect AL GORE in 2000.

Of course, Ford isn't complaining that he isn't speaking because it wouldn't be appropriate. Only Bush I (Reagan's VP) and Bush II (sitting head of state) are speaking. Others are Mulroney and Thatcher.

If Clinton wants, he can give the Democratic response.

Reagan pretty muched passed on d day.

His death may end up doing more to win this "generation's" normandy (the war on terrorism and lefty totalitarianism), than we could even imagine right now.

This passing, has reactivated a deep reservoir in hearts of Americans. It may well establish a beach head that was in danger of being seriously over run by a viscous and united enemy on two fronts, the leftists worldwide and the islamaniac fascists.

As one freeper said, even in Ronnie Reagan's passing, he was "sticking it to the left." and that may be exactly what we see.

God bless you Mr. President. We knew you far too few years.
Until we meet again, somewhere beyond the horizon... God Bless You.

True true. Reagan is an icon and an inspiration to a movement and a generation of young conservatives, President Bush, and even Clinton (welfare reform). Reagan still inspires and helps Republicans win elections, but the Democrats won't let Clinton touch them without ten foot pole!

How many Republicans out there respect Clinton? Few if any
How many Democrats out there at least respect Reagan or acknowledge that he's a man of character? A great many.

A good test of popularity is how much respect your enemies give you.

The most decent thing clinton could do (an oxymoron, I know) would be to be absent on a short notice, due to... salmonella indisposition, or some other such pretext. It should be easy to concoct one, and no one would start digging.
