It really can be construed as actually approving of Reagan;s death which I doubt was the intent. All an all an odd little show. I would think it would hurt him but I am beginning to think that I do not understand the voters in this election very well.
In years past this would really be a black mark against a mainstream candidate. This is the sort of think one expects out of someone like Jesse Jackson.
I is sad that such a poor campaigner is doing so well in the polls against a man that has accopmlish so much under so much duress. I fear for the nation.
The only polls that matter are those cast by registered voters on 2 Nov 04. Give or take a few million deceased and/or unregistered, animal, mineral and vegestable's who manage to cast ballots for the Democrat candidates.
We can be thankful for a couple more things from President Reagan: his departure from his body here on earth took Abu Ghraib from its leading spot in the "news". The media can't very well bring it back to the forefront without people seeing exactly what they're attempting to do. Of course, they will try it nevertheless, just as they did with the yellowcake and Bush-National Guard stories.
The other favor that The Gipper did for us was to seriously dampen the hooplah surrounding the publication of the impeached one's book.
