GK = epitome of winy immature leftist liberalism.
I started to read Lake Woebegon Days once, then I got to a part where he was glad his Dad never played with him, for some strange reason (think it had something to do with his concept of manliness) but I remember thinking, 'this guy is either an idiot or is hiding his true feelings about his father.' My kids love it when I play games with them, and so do I.
The part of the book where a young man returns with some kind of hateful resentful letter to his parents struck me as a classic liberal tome - blaming everyone for his problems but his own sorry self. Perhaps there was more GK in that letter than fictional character.
