To: Your Nightmare

Well, I took your advice and listened to the segement in question. Garrison Keillor's tone seems to change to one of mock respect as he speaks of President Reagan. I have never listened to this guy before until now, but to me, the sarcasm fairly dripped from his voice as he spoke about the recently deceased leader.

That kindly smooth tone he took is his only tone. That is who he is, and if you haven't heard more than three minutes of him ever, you can't very well judge a man's buried sarcasm.

Yeah! That is how I felt about the fishing show I was watching saturday night.

It was not just that they did not mentioned the death of the Gipper, it was the mocking way they just kept fishing as if the Gipper had not just died.
