Let's not forget that we live in America. From his Harlem offices, Clinton is free to eulogize President Reagan to his heart's content. I'm sure the media would play it on TV, or at the very least report on it.

He can call Mrs. Reagan to offer private condolences. Perhaps he has done so. I'm sure she would take a phonecall from a former President.

But none of those things will suffice. He has to be IN THE MOMENT. The STAR OF THE SHOW. Too classless to even permit a widow to choose the speakers at her husbands funeral without sticking his nose in.

When my time comes, I'd rather be dumped in a ditch than to have a loathsome creature like clinton speak at my elaborate funeral.
