Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor and the Rabbi Harold Kusher will give readings, while Irish tenor Ronan Tynan will sing...

I predict Tynan will sing 'The County Derry Air (Danny Boy)' and that there will not be a single dry eye in the Western Hemisphere...

I never heard that about DiMaggio-Clinton. I heard the story about DiMaggio stepping out of a lineup at an old-timers ballgame so as not to shake RFK's hand as he walked up the base line and greeted the ballplayers.

Sticking their toe in the water to see if they can start spouting..."this is nothing but a politcal event" dreck...get ready for Sunday talk shows and HOW...GW Bush was manipulating the death to promote his presidency...same dumb ass excuse they bantered around about using the image from 911 in GW's ad...to them EVERYTHING is either good for THEM...or it is a dirty partisan political tactic and they are perpetually appalled...

...any arrangement of DNA...

It's what happens when an Arky trailer trash slut mates with a drunken itinerant without benefit of matrimony. Something happens when the sterno and STDs combine.

Look how the scumbag democrats all booed Senator Lott at the Paul Wellstone Memorial service.

And you tell us trust any of the democrats at Ronald Reagan's Memorial service?

WJC was not merely magnanimous, he was truly generous in both spirit and word for RMN. I have little doubt he would do so for Ronaldus Magnus.

I think WJC would give RR at least as respectful an oration as he gave RMN. He emulated Pres. Reagan in certain ways. However, Barbara Walters on ABC on Sat. made it clear that Mrs. Reagan would have Pres. Bush speak, and maybe Pres. Ford, but that certain former Presidents would not be speaking. That made clear, Clinton's "anger" that neither he nor President Carter had been asked to speak "as of yet" shows his complete lack of regard for the bereaved widow, and his belief that he can still shame her into changing her mind. I doubt that either the Clintons or Carters can count themselves among Nancy's 3,000 closest friends. Yet she was gracious enough to invite them anyway. More class on her part than either of them deserved.

I don't think the American people should have to deal with the hypocrisy dripping from Clinton if he were allowed to speak. I don't care what he said -- it's not about WJC.

Clinton's inner circle is convinced Nancy Reagan has personally shut out Clinton from any high-profile participation.

Well, I should HOPE so. The gall, the arrogance, the stupidity to think that Clinton thought he had a right to speak at President Reagan's funeral. Why would he think he could ride on Mr. Reagan's coattails??

"It is a state funeral, using tax dollars," the top Clinton insider explained.

...and as a taxpayer I do not want Bill J. Clinton anywhere near the podium, waxing "sorrowful" at the funeral of MY president.

So the Democrats are expected to get 'equal time' at a man's funeral. The media has no business dictating who participates in a funeral ceremony.

I expect the Reagans discussed it years ago, and did not want filth such as Clinton involved in eulogizing at the ceremony.

President Reagan wouldn't remove his jacket in the Oval Office out of respect.

Bill Clinton removed his pants and used the sink.

Nuff said.

According to protocol the President of the United States starts planning their own funeral. Someone mentioned that the Reagans started in 1981 (not sure about that) and have continually updated the formal plans throughout the years. And, rightly so that the Reagans should have the last word.

One can only imagine the tasteless spectacle planned by Clinton.

There is no chance, no way, no how, that Republicans will turn the Reagan funeral into an "elect Bush" screaming orgy of a pep rally. There is NO parallel with the Wellstone funeral. Democrats are trying every chance they get to equate the two funerals, maybe to rub some of the stain off the Wellstone debacle. Don't fall for the trap. Nancy has been more than magnanimous by inviting Carter and Clinton to the funeral services.

Many people plan their own memorials. Maybe he told Nancy whom to include and whom NOT to include.

That is possible

You know .. I don't remember hearing about such griping when LBJ passed away ..
