Drudge does seem to feed the lib hysteria at any opportunity. As well as doing a good job of reporting things that would otherwise not be widely reported, he seems to also enjoy inflaming the fears of various "end is near" types.

I don't read it much anymore cuz I find the page to be anxiety filled and demoralizing too often.

After hyping the so called abuse photos ad nauseum, Drudge decided he was saturated with such photos and would NOT be posting any photos of Saddam Hussein's torture of his citizens.

I noticed he seems to be playing on it as a mockery to liberals and the environmental movement. Very tongue in cheek if you ask me. I have seen him do a lot.
