Apple CEO offers help to Kerry campaign

Apple CEO Steve Jobs wants to help Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry win the next election, he admitted at the Wall Street Journals' All Things Digital conference yesterday.

Jobs revealed AirPort Express at the event, and said that Apple's retail stores have reached the $1 billion turnover mark, making the company's retail initiative the fastest retailer to achieve this. The record was previously held by Old Navy, which is part of Gap.

On Kerry's campaign, Jobs said he could lend a hand with getting the campaign message out because he "knows something about advertising".

What little desire I had to play around with Macs is now completely gone. I guess as an official computer nerd I wasn't really in the target demographic anyway.

He's on the board of directors. Or, considering his charisma, perhaps that should be bored of directors.

I have never had a desire to buy a mac. Now I know why. It's instinct.

I am not a liberal. I love my iMac - don't have any use for Jobs. What tech nerd is not liberal? or apolictical? Michael Dell may be less liberal than others.
