What a marvelous man. The world is poorer without his presence, but the world is better because of his influence.

Could you please fix the spelling of Ms. Ingraham's last name in this title? (I left out an "n.") Sorry for the trouble.

Womderful essay.
President Reagan touched so many lives and I am in complete agreement with Laura Ingraham to why his influence lives on. The views held by Ronald Reagan are without question, the views of the majority of the American people today. We may disagree and vigorously debate the details of what it means to be conservative but the overall principles are never in doubt. We know we are and what we believe in. Its more than about optimism and a nice smile. Ideas matter. Our enemies have been Left enraged and bitter, reactionary in their outlook about the meaning of America. The President began something greater than himself and what he began has yet to crest. And he should know that even as we pause to mourn and salute him, the work of making a great country greater still and a happy people happier continues with no limits in sight. This is America and thank you for making everything possible. Thank you for helping to make Free Republic possible. Thank you for giving us back hope in our country. Thank you for making us dare to dream of reaching the stars and horizons as far as the eye can see. Mr. President, you will be missed even as you are taken home to be in the mansions of God.
